Lazy Lasagna

Craving the flavors of a classic lasagna but don’t want to deal with the hassle of layering noodles? Try this Lazy Lasagna recipe! It’s quick, easy, and just as delicious as the traditional version. Perfect for those busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 24 oz jar of your favorite pasta sauce
  • 1 bag of frozen ravioli (your choice – we used spinach & cheese)
  • 1 bag of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 9×13 baking dish

Instructions:

  1. Start by browning the ground beef in a skillet, then drain the excess grease.
  2. Spread a thin layer of pasta sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
  3. Add the remaining pasta sauce to the cooked ground beef, creating a flavorful meat sauce.
  4. Begin layering your Lazy Lasagna:
    • First, place a layer of frozen ravioli on top of the thin sauce layer.
    • Next, add a generous portion of the meat sauce.
    • Sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Repeat these layers until you’ve used all your ingredients. Typically, you can create three layers.
  6. Finish by topping your Lazy Lasagna with the remaining mozzarella cheese for that perfect gooey, cheesy layer.
  7. Optional: Serve your Lazy Lasagna with some garlic bread on the side – because who can resist garlic bread?
  8. Bake your Lazy Lasagna in a preheated oven at 350°F for 35-40 minutes until it’s bubbling and the cheese is golden brown.
  9. If you want an extra crispy top, broil on low for 3-4 minutes, but keep a close eye on it to prevent burning.

That’s it! Your Lazy Lasagna is ready to be enjoyed. It’s a simple yet satisfying meal that brings all the flavors of classic lasagna to your table with minimal effort. Bon appétit!
