Cheesy Beef and Pasta Bake

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 2 family-sized cans of condensed tomato soup
  • Approximately 4 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella & cheddar blend)
  • 1.5 boxes of bowtie pasta (or pasta of your choice)
  • About 1 cup of water
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder
  • Cooking spray for the baking dish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking it up into crumbles as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste. Once cooked, drain excess grease.
  4. Add the condensed tomato soup, half of the shredded cheese, cooked pasta, and about 1 cup of water to the cooked ground beef. Stir everything together until well combined.
  5. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Transfer the beef and pasta mixture into the baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese evenly over the top of the dish.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  8. After 20 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are slightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
