Honey Lavender Ice Cream
Indulge in the sweet and floral flavors of our Honey Lavender Ice Cream! This creamy and refreshing treat is perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons dried lavender flowers
- 6 egg yolks
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, heat the cream, milk, honey, and lavender over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and let the lavender steep for 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks. Slowly pour the cream mixture into the yolks, whisking constantly.
- Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
- Strain the mixture to remove the lavender flowers, then chill in the refrigerator.
- Once chilled, churn in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer to a container and freeze until firm.
