Cheesy Chicken broccoli Pasta Casserole

Ingredients:
2 cups pasta, uncooked (penne or fusilli works well)
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 cup broccoli florets, blanched
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cream
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (for topping)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
Stir in flour and gradually add milk and cream, whisking constantly until the sauce thickens.
Add cheddar cheese to the sauce, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
Mix in the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, and blanched broccoli florets until well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
