Chicken green bean casserole

Here’s the full recipe for Chicken/Green Bean Casserole over Stuffing:

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cubed
  • 2 cans of green beans, drained
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 bag of French fried onions
  • 1 box of stuffing mix

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cube the chicken breasts and season them with black pepper.
  3. In a skillet, sauté the seasoned chicken until cooked through and lightly browned. Set aside.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  5. Add the cooked chicken to the green bean mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Prepare the stuffing mix according to the package directions.
  7. Pour the prepared stuffing into the bottom of a casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
  8. Spoon the chicken and green bean mixture over the stuffing layer in the casserole dish.
  9. Sprinkle the French fried onions on top of the chicken and green bean mixture.
  10. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  11. After 30 minutes, remove the foil from the casserole dish and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and crispy.
  12. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
